Message from the Principal
Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
On behalf of the staff of WLC, I would like to welcome our new and returning students to WLC for the 2021-2022 school year. As a staff, we are excited for the year ahead and look forward to working in collaboration with you to support your child’s growth and development.
WLC administration are excited to work closely with staff, students and community to foster a learning environment focused on “What’s best for kids” and to ensure we are preparing them for the future. We believe in the collaborative approach to supporting students and look forward to engaging families in order to support their students.
We have an open door policy, and ask that if parents have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to share them with us. We are proud of our school, our students and the school community. We are focused on building school spirit thought our extra-curricular programs, special events and individualize programming to create an environment where kids feel safe, heard and proud to be a Royal!
As a district and school, we will focus our efforts on creating optimal learning environments for our students, an inclusive mindset to insure the needs of all of learners are addressed, a culture of wellness and the development of leadership within our school community as we strive for excellence.
